You also tend to go faster while drifting (holding R down), and in the plane, you have higher top speed while you are close to, but not touching, the ground. The more bananas you have, the greater the speed increase from tapping A. At least you get more practice.Įxtra hints to everyone: depending on how many bananas you have, tapping A repeatedly (at a rate of about 4-5 A presses per second) will increase your speed over simply holding it. To get a TT icon for unlocking TT you need to beat his GHOST, NOT just his time, so if you beat his time on the first run (not very tough if you've played the game a lot before), you'll unlock the achievement and have to redo the level once more to beat his ghost. I experienced the TT time "bug" very often, basically the achievements are linked to beating his TIME, but not his GHOST. I think almost everyone feels that way though. That said, IMO the hovercraft really sucks. Love this game, and this is probably the second time I have played Adventure Two all the way through on the N64 version, ever.
